Crowne Plaza
Some hotel stays give you a nice room. Others give you stories to tell long after checkout. My stay at Crowne Plaza in Albania came with a beautiful sea view, excellent breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, genuinely helpful staff and a few unexpected moments. From the salt room to a valet who helped with a flat tyre, the experience gave me plenty to appreciate.

La Villa Saint Jean
I have a theory: sometimes the hotel IS the vacation. You can plan the perfect itinerary, but if your accommodation disappoints...... In Cotonou, La Villa Saint Jean understood the assignment. Over two days, I experienced two rooms, enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere and discovered that sometimes, the details that make a stay memorable have very little to do with how much money was spent on the property. From a room that felt like a quiet retreat to a chef who remembered my love for pepper, La Villa Saint Jean reminded me that a good stay is about more than having somewhere to sleep.
